Software Updates
Orban will provide periodic firmware updates to continuously improve the OPTIMOD Trio, so please check back here from time to time to keep your OPTIMOD up to date.
To download the latest firmware, please click on the link below and you’ll land in the Trio “Index" folder. This folder contains links to “Documentation” and “Software.”
The “Documentation" folder contains links to download the User Manual, Quick Start Guide and Read Me files for each software release once available. The Read Me files include details regarding bug fixes, added features and improvements made in each software release.
The “Software” folder contains links to each firmware release .img file, each listed with its release date.
To update your Trio, simply:
Download the latest firmware release .img file to the desktop or other folder on your PC.
Log in to your Trio Web UI and click on the “System” tab.
Click on “Software Update” and then click on “Select File.”
Navigate to the folder where you saved the latest firmware release, and select that .img file to start the update.
When the update has finished the install, your Trio will reboot and the Web UI will flash “Update OK.”
You can confirm your OPTIMOD has updated by looking at the System number listed in the Main Menu of your Trio unit. This information will also be listed in the “Diagnostics” tab of the “System” menu of the Web UI in a future release.
