Optimod FAQs
What are the specifics of how to connect to Optimod 6200 to a SoundBlaster Live card?
This is very simple.
All digital sound cards that use spdif interface are the same.
Use a canaire bcj-xj-tra aes/ebu transformer and bnc to rca adapter. This takes the unbalanced aes and converts it to unbalanced bnc for spdif. The use of the bnc to rca adapter allows the use of standard audio cables for interface to the SoundBlaster Live card.
Can I download PC software to remotely control my Optimod?
Yes, several digital Optimods have PC remote control software. You can download the latest version of the PC software for free. A list of the latest downloads and upgrades can be found on our homepage under the heading of Downloads, Upgrades, and Information.
