TVS 3010 Controller and Limiter
CRL Systems offers sound enhancement and over modulation protection for international stereo television with the TVS-3010. The TVS-3010 is a professionally designed stereo television gain controller and precise broadcast limiter, in a solidly built rack-mount enclosure.
The TVS-3010 is designed to make the television sound engineer's job easier in the ever increasing competitive arena of international broadcasting. Intelligent circuitry monitors incoming audio source material and provides precise level control over a linearized 30 dB AGC range. A variable transfer function limiter allows full fidelity transmission of the high frequency spectrum when the mid-range frequency must be limited to prevent over modulation. Instaneous peak protection is offered by an extremely transparent feedback controlled final limiter. As a result, viewers are provided with a consistant and pleasing level of stereo audio -- without objectable fading, pumping or blasting -- in which the natural differences in level and pitch that add character and roboustness to the televised program are preserved.
Additional features include automatic or manual input phase reversal correction, input horizontal sync and harmonic signal filtering, selectable Automatic Loudness Control, program controlled Stereo Enhancement, remote control and status ports and built-in pink noise generator for ease of set up. All user controls are located behind a front panel access panel to prevent accidental adjustment.
