Precise Audio Level Control

The SGC-800 provides accurate, distortion-free automatic gain control over a wide range of program levels (24dB). The SGC-800 contains a programmable "dual, wide both" mode AGC/Compressor that can work as multi-band, wide-band or a combination of both. Average audio levels are controlled by the wideband AGC, while audio peaks are controlled by a dual band AGC. This provides a very smooth, natural sound which cannot be accomplished with other audio processors.

With so much of the world changing to digital audio sources such as compact disc, tape hiss and other background noises are becoming more noticeable. Using CRL's patented Dynafex single ended noise reduction system can provide amazing quieting of noisy program tape sources. Up to 30dB from program sources.
