Mixer

Precise, real-time, 32-bit digital mixing of 10 channels (with assignable effects), internal stereo submix, digital or analog external effects sends; 2 input channels.
24 tracks can be assigned to any of 10 mixer channels.
Internal stereo submix, selectable pre/post fader, controls up to 10 channel sends for built-in special effects. Dedicated stereo submix return fader.

One-Touch Video Machine Control

Press a button on the Audicy console, and video is automatically cued to Audicy's current location.
Once it's cued, any movement you make to the audio is mirrored by the video.
Picture and sound stay together at any speed, from the slowest scrubbing to fast winding, in either direction.
Find cue frames on the picture and press one button to mark the matching audio frame for editing.
Scrub audio, with 1/1000-frame resolution, at the touch of a dial, while the picture moves to match.

Automatic Video Lock

Use Audicy as a remote control for your VTR transport functions.
Audicy's normal transport controls work like a VTR's front-panel buttons.
Use Audicy's scrubwheel as a convenient shuttle control, smoothly varying between 3/100 and 24 times normal speed, in either direction.
Shuttle and job controls are trimmed to respond like the front panel of a BetaSP deck.

Flexibility and Power

Videotape dynamics can be adjusted for special situations or to accommodate non-standard decks.
Serial communication, house sync status, and video transport condition are monitored at all times. Icons alert you to problems.
Diagnostic display reports the most common status messages and transport state in plain English.
Uses standard Sony "9-pin" RS-422 protocol.
Intelligent control algorithms override the VTR's internal CPU, when appropriate, for faster response.
