Company Name and History

Orban was Co-Founded by Robert Orban and the late John Delantoni in 1970, and is a World Leading Company in Professional Audio Processing for Radio Television and Internet Streaming Audio.

The Optimod Line of Audio Processing Equipment has set the standards for all modern digital audio processing since 1991.

The Opticodec Line of Encoding Products is the professional standard for streaming audio encoding using the best in perceptual algorithms for unmatched performance with lossy codecs.

CRL was Co-Founded by Gary Clarkson and the late Ron Jones in 1978, and was an inventive company with advanced AM modulation techniques, some still used by Orban today; the former company also produced a full line of AM, FM and Shortwave Processors. The CRL line of products was discontinued as of November 2006.

After a merger in 2000 the two companies operated together with combined product lines. The company was publicly traded under the symbol "CRLI" on the NASDEQ over the counter markets until January 2009, when it announced it would stop reporting and filing with the SEC. The company Circuit Research Labs, Inc a Arizona Corporation and CRL Systems, Inc a Nevada Corporation, closed its doors and ceased operations March 5th, 2009.

Today the Orban Products are marketed under new ownership as of March 6th 2009 as a part of Nabro Able LLC, an Arizona Limited Liability Company.
