ORBAN NAMES ROGER SALES CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Tempe, AZ February 9th, 2009 — Orban, a worldwide leader in audio processing for AM, FM, TV, and Internet broadcasting, announces the appointment of Roger Sales as Chief Financial Officer.
C. Jayson Brentlinger, President, CEO and Chairman of Orban announced the appointment, commenting; "We are very fortunate to have someone of Roger's abilities join our company as our CFO during these challenging times. I first met Roger when he was part of the team in charge of the transition of Orban from Harman to CRL in 1999, when he earned my respect and admiration."
Sales has been associated with Orban for the last two years as a consultant and Independent member of the CRL Board of Directors. Having worked in the US and Australia as well as his native UK, Sales now brings his international experience and expertise to Orban's worldwide operation. He is a highly qualified accountant and holds a degree in commerce from the University of Leeds in the UK. He has worked in a number of senior financial roles during his career, including a long period in the Professional Audio field where he was CFO for the Harman International Professional Audio Division for many years.
Sales replaces Rebecca Nation, who was performing the CFO role on a temporary basis in addition to her other duties as Vice President of Human Resources. In January 2009, Nation was appointed Vice President of US Operations.
