Nautel to Offer "Orban Inside" Audio Processing
Orban and Nautel partner to offer customers a simple single box solution for best-in-class audio processing that leverages Nautel's Advanced User Interface (AUI).

Las Vegas, NV, NAB Booth N7116 - Nautel Limited and Orban have entered into an agreement for Nautel to license Orban's industry leading audio processing algorithms and develop embedded solutions for Nautel transmitters. This unique capability will allow customers to obtain integrated Orban audio processing with new Nautel transmitters and leverage Nautel's advanced control and display capabilities.
Commenting on today's announcement, C. Jayson Brentlinger, President, CEO and Chairman of Orban stated, "Orban is excited to work with a company like Nautel to offer customers a new option for audio processing. Now customers can choose to implement their audio processing either internally or separately depending on their own specific requirements and preferences"
The first product to support the embedded audio processing will be Nautel's award winning NV40 44kW Solid State FM transmitter. The all-digital embedded audio processor consists of a daughter card that plugs into the FM exciter. All control is via the Nautel Advanced User Interface, which for the NV40 means a 17" touch screen interface for local use and remote access to 100% of the local interface via the web. Users obtain a no compromise solution incorporating full featured Orban functionality with the most advanced transmitter user interface available today.
