The new ORBAN OPTICODEC 7600, designed and engineered by the Orban-Europe German engineering team in Ludwigsburg, is the next step forward in audio transmission using ISDN - X.21 - V.35 - TCP/IP and POTS. The OPTICODEC 7600 is an extremely powerful codec using the latest MOTOROLA DSP (these units do not use PC processors). With the unique AUTOMATIC CODEC DETECT function, 7600 users do not have to worry about what codec is on the other side.
ORBAN is known worldwide as the developer of the OPTICODEC product family, combining ISDN, Ethernet and ISO/MPEG audio coding. The OPTICODEC reduces the bandwidth required to transmit and receive audio between the audio source and the remote receive location. This technology is aimed at those working in radio and television broadcasting, recording and production studios for voice and music, advertising agencies, news information, audio-on-demand and all other broadcasting over ISDN and Ethernet.
