Chris G. Kampmeier Joins Orban PC Products Division

Tempe, Ariz., July 27, 2005 – Orban® , a worldwide leader in audio processing for broadcasting and the Internet, announced today that Chris G. Kampmeier has been appointed to the position of Software Developer for Orban. Kampmeier is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California, majoring in Computer Science as a member of the USC Engineering Honors Program. He will be responsible for software development and will report to Orban Vice President of New Product Development Greg Ogonowski.

Commenting on the appointment, Orban President, Chairman, and CEO Jay Brentlinger said, “We are very pleased to have hired Chris. Having known Chris personally for many years, I can attest to the fact that he is a diligent worker, very bright, and will add a fresh new dimension to our software development team.”

Ogonowski added, “Chris will initially be working on Orban Web Commerce allowing the purchase and software authentication of Orban PC Products through the Orban website. He will then assist in the development of additional Darwin Streaming Server features and functionality for use with Orban Opticodec-PC. Orban is committed to changing the way streaming audio is perceived and consumed, and Chris can definitely help us achieve that goal.”

Kampmeier has acted as General Manager of USC radio station KSCR in Los Angeles , working to coordinate and manage about 200 volunteers. He integrated new designs with existing data and infrastructure to create a new community center for independent Los Angeles radio. This music database offers features that enable a high level of user interaction and customization, including a music sample streaming server. Kampmeier is also a programmer for the Institute for Multimedia Literacy, where he created staff intranet, blogs, and other software tools to boost productivity and communication while frequently assisting with sound design and recording using a ProTools HD setup.

His technical skills include extensive experience with PHP, Perl, XHTML, CSS, XML/SOAP/RSS, JavaScript, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, C++, C, Java, Visual Basic Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Digital Audio Production, Sound Design, and streaming software and servers.
