STATIONS START STREAMING TO 3GPP MOBILE DEVICES VIA ORBAN’S OPTICODEC-PC
Tempe, Ariz., June 6 – Orban®, a worldwide leader in audio processing for broadcasting and the Internet, has announced the list of cities that the Orban Mobile Broadcast Laboratory fleet of vehicles will visit in June and July of 2005. Stops will include several SBE Chapter meetings and key radio and television station groups. Broadcasters across the country will see the latest in audio processing technologies developed by Bob Orban, Greg Ogonowski and the Orban team, the world’s most accomplished transmission audio processing engineers for broadcast and the Internet.

On the tour, broadcasters get hands-on opportunities with the newest audio processing technologies for radio, television, and Internet broadcasting. The new Orban Optimod-FM 8500, Optimod-FM 8400 Signature Series, Orban Optimod-FM 8300 version 2, Optimod-FM 5300, Orban Optimod-TV 8382, Orban Optimod-PC 1100, the entire CRL Amigo line of processors, and much more, will be found on-board. Engineers, Program Directors, Operation Managers, General Managers, and Production Directors nationwide will be visited.
Also on board will be state-of-the-art FM RF Metering (FM_MC4) and RBDS encoding (FMB80) units from Audemat-Aztec. For 25 years Audemat-Aztec (www.audemat-aztec.com) has been developing innovative products for AM, FM, and TV broadcasters. The Audemat-Aztec product range includes field strength meters with GPS receivers and modulation monitors built-in, remote facilities management in AM, FM and TV, and world-class RDS encoders.
