ORBAN/CRL A HIT AT 2005 NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS CONVENTION IN LAS VEGAS
Tempe, Ariz., June 1 - Orban®/CRL, a worldwide leader in audio processing for radio, television, and the internet, completed another successful demonstration of new products and technologies at the 2005 National Association of Broadcasters Convention in Las Vegas in late April. The new, award-winning Orban Optimod-FM 8500 was on display, receiving praise from attending broadcast engineers and media. Also unveiled at Orban/CRL's 1,600 square-foot demonstration booth in the Radio Hall were the Orban Optimod-FM 5300 and Optimod-FM 8400 Signature Series. At a separate booth in the Multimedia Hall, Orban showed the new Opticodec-PC aacPlus ® File Encoder, the new Opticodec-PC Archiver, and Opticodec-PC version 2.
At the Las Vegas Hilton, Orban/CRL's 35 th Anniversary Party included entertainment featuring Randy Meisner (formerly of the Eagles and Poco),Charlie Rich Jr., the son of legendary country music artist Charlie Rich, Billy Swan, and Augie Meyers of the Texas Tornados. The party was co-sponsored by the NAB.
