VALDEZ APPOINTED ORBAN's VICE PRESIDENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATIONS

Tempe, Ariz., Mar. 17 – Orban®, a worldwide leader in audio processing for broadcasting and the Internet, has announced that Rebecca Valdez, Human Resources Director of Orban, has been promoted to the newly-created position of Vice President of Administrative Operations.

In announcing the appointment, the company Chairman, President and CEO C. Jayson “Jay” Brentlinger said, “We are very pleased that Becky has accepted our offer to fill this important new position. Her performance and dedication during her five year tenure with us have been absolutely first class. She is a great asset to Orban and we welcome her to the ranks of our officers.”

Valdez joined the company in 2000 as its marketing coordinator and has worked in a wide variety of activities, including sales support, accounting, payroll and trade show management.

Commenting on her promotion, Valdez said, “This is a very special opportunity for me and a recognition that I will always appreciate. The chance for continuing personal growth and professional development is most gratifying.”

Prior to joining the company, Valdez’s work experience includes senior staff positions in broadcasting, network operations, banking and the health care fields.

Valdez attended Clark County Community College in her native Las Vegas, Nevada and majored in business management.
