ORBAN ANNOUNCES NEW ORBAN OPTIMOD-FM 8400 SIGNATURE SERIES

Tempe, Ariz., Feb. 10 – Orban®, a worldwide leader in audio processing for broadcasting and the Internet, has announced that the new Orban Optimod-FM 8400 Signature Series audio processors will begin shipping immediately. The Optimod-FM 8400 Signature Series features 10 new European presets and a newly designed front panel, and is authenticated by the signature of Orban's Founder and Vice President of Engineering Bob Orban.

The new European presets were developed by Orban's European Sales and Technical Support Engineer, Peter van Beusekom. For years a respected authority on the workings of Orban Optimod audio processors, van Beusekom was hired by Orban late in 2004. Since his arrival, he has visited several countries in Europe with GM and European Sales Manager Peter Lee and the Orban European Mobile Broadcast Laboratory (EMBL). In addition to assisting broadcasters with measuring and maximizing the performance of their existing audio processing, van Beusekom used his experiences and expertise to derive the new presets found in Orban's new Optimod-FM 8400 Signature Series.

"We are fortunate to have been able to build on the reputation of the Orban Optimod-FM 8400 with the help of Peter van Beusekom," Orban President, Chairman, and CEO Jay Brentlinger stated. "The new presets offer broadcasters a wider selection of sound variation for their station. The clean, clear sound of the Optimod-FM 8400 Signature Series will brighten the audio for radio stations around the globe. We encourage serious broadcasters to look at this new model, which builds on the 8400’s world-class sound."
