ORBAN MOBILE BROADCAST LABORATORY 2005 USA Tour 1st and 2nd QUARTER SCHEDULE
Tempe, Ariz., Jan. 14 – Orban®, the worldwide leader in audio processing for broadcasting and the Internet, has announced the list of cities that the Orban Mobile Broadcast Laboratory fleet of vehicles will be visited by the Orban Mobile Broadcast Laboratory fleet of vehicles in the first half of 2005. . Stops will include the NAB Show in Las Vegas, several SBE Chapter meetings, and key radio station groups. Broadcasters across the country will see the latest in audio processing technologies developed by Bob Orban, Greg Ogonowski and the Orban team of America’s the world’s most accomplished transmission audio processing engineers for broadcast and the Internet.

The MBL fleet consists of fully-equippedfully equipped mobile vehicles that allow for testing and demonstrations of Orban and CRL products in addition toas well as comparisons with with other products. They carry rack-mounted displays of Orban's entire product line. A variety of equipment, including the new Optimod-FM 2300, Optimod-PC 1100, Opticodec-PC, Optimod-FM 8300, Optimod-FM 8400HD Signature Series, and the Opticodec 7000 and 7400 series of ISDN and Ethernet codecs are on-board. Presentations are being conducted on High Definition Radio™ and the most recent developments in audio processing. The MBL Tour offers broadcast engineers, technical service managers, and owners an opportunity for hands-on demonstrations and a chance for in-depth Q&A sessions with the experts from Orban.
Also on-board will be state-of-the art digital audio measuring from Audemat-Aztec. Resulting from the merger of Audemat and Aztec Radiomedia, Audemat-Aztec is a leader in FM and AM radio, TV, DAB signal expertise and analysis. The FM-MC4 is recognized by regulating authorities and major broadcasters as the best reference tools for signal expertise. The companion Navigator 100 is an affordable broadcast equipment tool for a check of the broadcast signal.
Also on board will be state- of- the- art FM RF Metering (FM_MC4) and RBDS encoding g (FMB80) units from Audemat-Aztec. The Audemat-Aztec product range includes field strength meters with GPS receivers and modulation monitors built-in, remote facilities management in AM, FM and TV and world-class RDS encoders.
