CHARLIE RICH JR. APPOINTED TO MANAGE ORBAN & CRL WEBSITES
Tempe, Ariz. — 2004, Dec. 9 — Orban®/CRL (NASDAQ: CRLI.OB), the worldwide leader in audio processing for broadcasting and the Internet, has announced the appointment of Charlie Rich Jr. as Website Manager for both the Orban and CRL websites. Rich will be responsible for the execution of engineering and marketing directives, bringing web skills and technical abilities which will help to improve Orban and CRL's extensive websites.
Based out of Nashville, Tennessee, Rich will visit Orban/CRL's Tempe, Arizona and San Leandro, California locations frequently. He will work to present effective, easy-to-navigate sites that will allow potential customers to learn about the Orban/CRL product lines.
Orban/CRL President, Chairman, and CEO Jay Brentlinger stated, "Charlie Rich Jr. comes to Orban/CRL with a wealth of experience in website development, graphic design, and web usability. We made the decision to bring in Charlie to create more excitement for our websites. Having known Charlie for over 30 years, I can state that in addition to being a skilled website manager, he is a fine individual who we will enjoy working with. We expect to be able to service our customers even better with improved websites for Orban, Orban-Europe and CRL."
Charlie Rich Jr. is well versed in all aspects of website development. He is the son of the late country singer Charlie Rich, who topped the country charts in the 1970's with "Behind Closed Doors", "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World", and "A Very Special Love Song". He has worked in this field while simultaneously continuing his father's legacy as a performer, being an accomplished musician himself. Rich tours consistently, playing with the likes of Smokey Robinson, Randy Meisner (Co-founder of Poco/The Eagles), Billy Swan, The Texas Tornados, and Freddy Fender. He recently performed at this year's IBC in Amsterdam for Orban/CRL Dealers, an exciting show that the dealers thoroughly enjoyed.
"I would like to thank Orban/CRL for allowing me the opportunity to further develop their websites," Rich commented. "When designing or implementing improvements or even simple website updates, I try to emphasize user-friendly designs. We want to use inventive graphic design values while making the site fast loading, easy to read, and easy to navigate. In other words, the end user should have a seamless experience while visiting the site. I look forward to a long relationship with this fine company."
